Pumpkin Trains

Fall is a special time of the year, full of color and memories. The Riverside & Great Northern Railway will be running trains to view mother nature's colorful tapestry as we enjoy a trip through the beautiful glacier park dells. Gifts of pumpkins will be given to our young guests. No goblins or ghosts - just good ol' plain harvest home activities.

Santa Trains

The Winter Season opens with our "Santa Special" at the Riverside & Great Northern Railway.

Holiday lights, and potbelly stoves will warm the soul, as Santa hears the requests and checks his list twice.

Bundle up the kids and enjoy a train ride through special magic that is the Dells in winter.

Rendevous

Re-enactors, weaving, leatherwork, beads, metalwork, and much more, bring to life a way of life long gone, but not forgotten.

Held in conjunction with the Baraboo River Rendevous on Spirit Point in Baraboo Labor Day weekend, a visit to the Riverside & Great Northern Railway combines a great learning experience for the kids with a fun train ride through the late-summer beauty of the cliffs and ravines of the Dells.

Gas & Steam Show

Antique tractors and fantastic models celebrating the mechanical age will once again be exhibited in all their splendor. Polished brass and painted finishes will amaze even the casual on looker. Local thresher men will turn back the clock to an era when our great grand parents faced the elements and farmed the Midwest.
